What is a Thank You Letter? |
|
Answer:
Most career counselors recommend writing a thank you This is both common courtesy and a reinforcement of the fact that you are serious about the job opportunity. In your thank you letter, you can – in a tasteful manner – restate your reasons for wanting the job, your qualifications, and why you would be an asset to the company in this position. There are different styles of thank you letters, and samples of each can be found online. You will have to choose which one feels the most appropriate for the company and the interviewer. Some experts are comfortable with email thank you letters while others say that only letters sent by postal mail will do. There is also some disagreement about if thank you letters should be handwritten or typed. You will have to gauge this for yourself, depending upon the situation and the company. The experts do agree on one thing, however: a thank you note is a must after a job interview. Trackback(0)
