What is a Full Time Job?

Answer:
A full time job is a job which requires someone
to work the maximum number of hours legally allowed in a week.  In the United States, this is usually considered to be 40 hours a week, although in many professions, salaried workers put in more than 40 hours each week.

A full time job, also called full time employment, or FTE, often provides benefits such as sick days, vacation days, health and dental insurance, and retirement benefits.

Full time employees can be paid an hourly wage, or they can be salaried.  Full time jobs generally require more skills or experience than part time jobs, but not always.
