What Information Can You Provide on Oklahoma Unemployment Benefits?

Answer:
Individuals who are unemployed or who hold part-time
work yet earn wages less than the weekly unemployment benefit amount for which they are qualified may be eligible for Oklahoma unemployment benefits. Upon filing, monetary eligibility will be established based on earnings in the base period prior to the quarter in which the claim is filed.

In addition to having monetary eligibility, the individual's change in employment status may not be related to disciplinary termination or a voluntary resignation not for good cause. Claimants must be able and available to work, and must be actively involved in seeking employment.

Only U.S. citizens and other individuals lawfully working in the country are eligible to receive Oklahoma unemployment benefits. For more information, see http://www.oesc.state.ok.us/default.htm .
