What Does a Human Resources Manager Do?

Answer:
The job responsibilities of Human Resources Managers may
vary significantly from one organization to another. In large organizations, there are often several Human Resources Managers who supervise different HR functions, such as benefits and compensation, recruiting, training, labor relations, etc. In organizations structured in this manner, each Human Resources Manager reports to a Director of Human Resources who has overall responsibility for all HR functions within the organizations.

In many organizations, however, the Human Resources Manager does have responsibility for all HR functions. If there are specialists who oversee individual functions, each specialist reports to the HR Manager. In the smallest organizations, the Human Resources Manager is often the entire HR Department, and is responsible for performing all of the organization's human resources tasks.
