There are six top cities in the United States for archaeologist careers, and three are in Arizona. Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Tempe, Arizona are all good cities for archaeologists looking to relocate their home base, as are Golden, Colorado; Salt Lake City, Utah; and Macon, Georgia. Most of these cities are in hot dry climates, which should get archaeologists ready for the often similar climates of archaeological digs.
