What are the Top Cities for Archaeologist Careers?

Answer:
Although archaeologists often travel around
the world to different archaeological sites, they generally have a home base city that they work out of when they are not in the field. Many archaeologists are not too picky about which city they are based in, because they know they will have the opportunity to travel extensively.

There are six top cities in the United States for archaeologist careers, and three are in Arizona. Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Tempe, Arizona are all good cities for archaeologists looking to relocate their home base, as are Golden, Colorado; Salt Lake City, Utah; and Macon, Georgia. Most of these cities are in hot dry climates, which should get archaeologists ready for the often similar climates of archaeological digs.
