What are the Job Duties of a Pharmacy Technician?

Answer:
The job duties of a pharmacy technician revolve around assisting pharmacists
Pharmacy technicians do not have to get an advanced medical or pharmaceutical degree, although they may take certification classes.  These classes include learning chemistry, anatomy, and some other basic medical concepts.  Pharmacy technicians can work in pharmacies in drugstores, clinics, or hospitals.

Pharmacy technicians formulate, label, and dispense medications.  They may also be charge of patients' files and profiles, whether the information is on paper records or on the computer.  All medications given out and sold must be approved by a licensed pharmacist.  Pharmacy technicians cannot offer advice about medication.
