What are the Job Duties of a Dermatologist?

Answer:
Dermatologists are doctors who are trained in diagnosing and treating diseases of the skin, nails, hair, and mucous membranes
Dermatologists first attend medical school, then to a dermatology residential program.  Dermatologists may train to treat children and adults, or to specialize in one or the other.

Some of the job duties of a dermatologist include diagnosing and treating skin cancers, skin tumors and moles, diagnose and treat all varieties of skin rashes, and perform dermatological surgery.  some dermatologists treat cosmetic skin disorders like scars, hair loss, wrinkles, and loose skin.  The doctors may give collagen or Bot ox injections, or perform cosmetic surgery.  Some dermatologists specialize in specific areas of dermatology.  For example, a pathologist studies skin diseases at the microscopic level, and a pediatric dermatologist would focus on children's skin diseases.
