Groups such as Doctors Without Borders provide medical personnel to developing countries, and many other healthcare workers travel to countries ravaged by AIDS or other epidemics. In addition, religious groups often send out medical mission teams to countries around the world. Photography may be another ticket for adventure. Wildlife and nature photographers commonly travel to restricted areas in some of the most beautiful parts of the world. Photojournalists also travel for work, photographing news and government activity around the world. Another well-known overseas job is that of an ESL teacher. ESL, or English as a Second Language, is a popular course for many students, both adults and children, in many non-English speaking countries.
