Au-Pair If you’re at least 17, consider a job abroad as an au-pair or nanny. Your primary role will be to care for the children as well as interact with them in the English language. The federal government provides a wide variety of international employment opportunities – from working in a branch of the military to working in a United States Embassy in a foreign country.
