Unemployment benefits are offered in Florida
to anyone who has been employed in the state for at least 18 months who is unemployed or partially employed. In order to qualify, the individual must have worked at least four quarters out of the last five.


Claims can be filed over the phone at  1-800-204-2418, or claimants may visit the Unemployment Compensation section of the Agency for Workforce Innovation online on the Florida Unemployment website .
