Other stay-at-home moms choose to bring other children into their home and run a day care out of their home. This allows them to have their own children in their home while providing a service for other parents and making some money. Becoming an Avon or Mary Kay representative also allows for flexible hours. Some stay-at-home moms even start their own business so that they can have control over their hours and working conditions.
