An Aerospace Engineer is one who is engaged
in designing, developing, testing and producing components and parts used in aircraft, missiles, and other aerospace equipment.


For the most part, all Engineers are engaged in the activity of applying mathematical, scientific and other fixed principles to particular technical obstructions and problems.  Aerospace Engineers are made up of Aeronautical (aircraft specialties) and Astronautical (spacecraft specialties) disciplines.

The field of Aerospace Engineering is one that requires significant education and training in a variety of sub-disciplines, including aerodynamics, propulsion, navigation, electronics, physics, thermodynamics, environment, metallurgy, acoustics; to mention just a few. 

Aerospace Engineers often find employment with aircraft manufacturers and related industries, including jet engines, control systems, computer systems, and the like.

Aerospace Engineers also should possess the following skills:
-Mathematics
-Communication skills
-Inventiveness
-Creativity
-Organizational skills
