A Biologist is one who works in the field of
Biology; i.e., living organisms.  The work types vary, and include a broad spectrum of sub-divisions and interrelated sciences.


A Biologist might specialize in Marine Biology, Structural Biology, Zoology, Microbiology, and other similar arenas within the general discipline of Biology.  Each branch of Biology has its own set of intensely complex and astounding studies, to learn how life forms function, and how they relate to their environment and other influences.

Of course, a Biologist needs to study those complex and astounding subjects and topics, in order to understand the basic fundamentals and processes which govern living organisms.  Subjects such as chemistry, biology, mathematics, physics, perhaps evolutionary and creationist theories, and other similar subjects.

A Biologist also should possess the following:
- Attention to details
- Organizational skills
- Patience
- Methodical approach
- Problem solving skills
- Self-discipline re: work ethics, scheduling, etc.
- Other similar traits
